We believe in Agile, we practice agile and our software is a result of our strict adherence to the agile philosophy. We are veterans in the software industry; we grew up with waterfall but now believe wholeheartedly in Agile and use Agilebuddy for all our software development projects. Agilebuddy is a direct result of our experience with Agile and our scrum teams have been using Agilebuddy to track all of our projects since the 2nd Sprint.
Jack Milunsky is the resident Scrum Master, he combines 18 years of experience managing software development teams both large and small. He is an early adopter of Agile and has a great passion for early stage startups. Jack holds a BSC Elec (Eng) degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa and completed Business Administration from the Stanford University Business School.
Richard Poirier is the lead developer on Agilebuddy. He began his career building desktop apps in Java and then starting dabbling in web apps with Ruby on Rails. After realizing how much he loved browser incompatibilities, he moved to full time web app development. He loves staying on the bleeding edge and will use any tool if it’s the right one for the job. As a strong proponent of Agile, he religiously practices Scrum and XP and is a strong believer in Test/Behavior Driven Development, pair programming and emergent architectures. He has an Honors Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Toronto.
Ahsan Ziauddin’s passion for computers originated with the Commodore 64, in the dark days of the pre-internet world: since then he’s been more or less obsessed with computing. His career began at Tucows Inc. where he worked on developing software to manage email data migrations. After gettng a taste of web development whilst working on a J2EE webmail app, his interest in dynamic programming languages led him to rapid web application development with Ruby on Rails. When he’s not debating programming language design or development methodologies with colleagues, he spends his time reading fiction and listening to more experimental noise than he knows what to do with. He holds an Honors Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Toronto.
